Maria Picassó i Piquer is a Catalan artist based in Barcelona. She graduated in Architecture and soon left her office job to become a full-time illustrator.
She combines her training in architecture and design with her love for observing and capturing human faces, distilling them down to their most recognisable essence.
Her works cover a wide variety of supports such as books, clothing and video games. You can find her work every month on ICON magazine and has published in media around the world such as Barron's, Zwölf magazine and Diari Ara.
Highly acclaimed in her profession, she’s been a guest speaker in various conventions in both Europe and USA and has been a jury member of World Press Cartoon in 2018.
